can't dial into MY uberconference # 80% of the time

Just setup UberConference (free) and started testing it.  10 calls to the uberconf #.  2 connected fine, the other eight get:

"Welcome to Verizon Wireless, your call cannot be completed as dialed, please check your # and dial again. Announcement for, switch to 8-1"

What is going on?
