There are at least 8 people I know, including my wife and I, who are having intermittent cell service issues. We can hear people who call us but are not able to talk to them in return. At first, I thought it was just a problem with my phone. I cleaned out the microphone hole on my S5 and confirmed that it works when I use google voice and also to record voice reminders. Yesterday, My wife worked with a Verizon technician for an hour to resolve the issue with no resolution. I had believed that our phones were just lost causes until I talked with other friends who also use Verizon. They are also having the same issue. A full factory reset did not resolve the issue. On average, we can actually talk back to 1 out every 5 people that call us. This also occurs with outgoing calls. I sat on a prepaid phone for 30 mins waiting for a technician to answer and when that failed, I decided to try here. This is occurring in zip code 86326. Hopefully, someone at Verizon will get this message. My friends use iPhones so it is not limited to Android.
