How can I send a voicemail from iPhone without calling the intended recipient?

From a Samsung Galaxy, I can call my voicemail box, select option 2 to send a voicemail, enter someone's voicemail box number (cell phone number), record a voicemail, and send it straight into their voicemail box without making a call. When I call voicemail from the iPhone, option 2 is not available. How can I send a direct voicemail from an iPhone (7) ? I already know about apps like slydial, but I'd like to do it thru the voicemail system. thanks

Thanks for the info. However, my question relates specifically to the

iPhone. When I call into voicemail from my iPhone, there is no option 2

offered - to send a message directly to someone's voicemail. Both of the

voicemail instructions at the link that you provided show an option 2

available, allowing for sending of a voicemail message directly to an

inbox. How can I use that feature when accessing voicemail from my iPhone?
