I don’t pay for caller name id yet it was using my battery

i got a call yesterday and caller name id (which i don’t subscribe to) identified it as spam.  This morning my battery was low and i checked why and caller name id used about 18% of battery power.  Why was caller name id using my battery and why did it identify the spam call when i never signed up for caller name id? Any thoughts on this?

Tsinvest, I understand your concern regarding Caller Name ID. This can be a great feature to have when you want to be alerted and block unwanted numbers. Did you sign up for the free trial? What make and model phone do you have? Have you deleted the application?
