New 4G Lte Network Extender to replace my 3G Extender

I have ordered the new 4G LTE Network Extender, and am currently using with nice success the 3G Extender. When it arrives, and after first disconnecting my old 3G Extender, do I have to call Verizon to have them deactivate my old 3G Extender on their end , or will the system automatically recognize the new 4G LTE Extender when I go through the ramp up process . I have been using an IPhone 7, and am familiar with setting the phone properly...my only question was with the new 4G LTE Extender ...I just was trying to avoid having to call Verizon.......thanks....

We can save you the phone call, FlywithHarv. The Account Owner can sign in to My Verizon to manage Network Extender access settings in My Verizon. You can leave your Network Extender on Open Access or switch to Managed Access and walk through activation of the extender. Hello there..thanks for your response....but...the two links you included in your response are 3G Network Extender specific...I’ve read as much as I can find concerning the 4g LTE Network Extender, and see that I can manage by entering the IP address in my browser...My simple question is can I just unplug my old 3G Network Extender, and plug in my new 4G unit...of course following set up instructions....I’ve used my Extender for years, so I’m familiar with operations.....thanks....
