Can't get Ellipsis 8 tablet to boot past initial screen.

My Ellipsis 8 tablet begins to boot up, goes through "Ellipsis powered by Android" screen and then gets stuck on the "pulsating Verizon" screen. I have tried to do the factory reset. It only turns off screen and never give me the reset screen. This happened after I discovered that the tablet had been left on and was down to 0% battery. It will take a charge. Any suggestions?

Is Verizon  just forgetting about us? I still have a phone line connected to mine which I'm obligated to pay but I can not use! I really feel abused, at least don't make me pay for a service contract so i could get this tablet but now I can't use, from no fault of my own. I tried all the suggestions and nothing works! Please offer some help!
