wondering why my new iPad will call *22899? Anyone else having this issue? the scre changes to the call screen and is there for 8-10 seconds and then it hangs up. Happens when I am using iPad and also noticed it happening when I am not using it.
That's normally the number to update the PRL for the Verizon Wireless network. You might have to reboot the iPad more often to allow the SIM card reconnect and refresh the network information.
Yes, that happens to me too, for over a minute.
