In Bonifay FL 32425 the reception has been perfect for 15 or so years. As of lately, reception is terrible calls dropped 4G shows up as 3G half the time. Verizon installed a new tower north of town where the reception was always weak and like magic, it was fixed. Then it started to decline again. you can literally stand next to the tower and only get 1 bar with a Samsung Note 5 or new iPhone. So let's do not start with have you troubleshot your devices? That is not the problem and many have locals have been told different story's by Verizon! One customer was told that the service was turned down due to not enough customers and if he was not happy he could go with another provider. Another was told that Verizon was aware of the problem and it was going to take months to fix and offered him an $80.00 credit. (If that was the case why was on everyone extended this offer? Now our bill was not even a month late and boom Verizon was quick to suspend our service during a hurricane might I add! My wife had to pay the bill from work over the phone so that she would have a phone on her hour commute..this is terrible service Verizon what are you willing to do about it? The sad thing is we have no other carrier option here. So either Verizon has to do the right thing or the people of this area will band together and start complaining to our local legislators to see if they can get to the root of the problem. Remember they live here too!
