iPhone 5 se stopped working, put the SIM card in the new iPhone 5 se and no contact information was transferred. What do I do now?

Contacts’ information is not stored in the phone SIM card. Your contacts’ information is synched from the iCloud (https://support.apple.com/icloud) if you have a back up copy of your contacts. You can also get contacts’ information from the Verizon Cloud (https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/how-to-use-verizon-cloud/), if you use the Verizon Cloud instead of the iCloud.
