Wi-fi Connect software for Macintosh?

I have a new MacBook Pro with Windows 7 installed on a Parallel partition.

I qualify for free Wi-Fi Connect based on the level of my service but despite having downloaded

and installed the Verizon software (on the Windows partition) I cannot connect to local Starbucks listed

as allowing Verizon customers to use their wi-fi networks nor BWI Airport, which is also listed

among Verizon Hotspots. I can always connect to free public wi-fi hotspots on the Macintosh

side but they aren't everywhere yet.

Early this month I was told that Verizon would have Wi-Fi Connection software for the Macintosh OS by the end of the month but as of this morning tech support for wi-fi connection didn't know anything about this.

Does anyone else?

Are you using Mac OS version 10.3 or higher? Verizon Hotspots is compatible with that version.

Yes, 10.6.4 actually. But how do Verizon hotspots depend on the Mac OS at all?

So far, they only have a Windows version of their Wi-Fi Connect software

(I'm using Windows 7 under Parallels also, but without any luck: the Windows 7

side doesn't find any networks even though it reportedly looks for them)

If you are using a mi-fi 2200, the Verizon hotspots is compatible with the Mac version 10.3. Tech Support can assist you with setting up the settings.
