Old texts from previous phone

I have the Motorola android phone, and can still access some old texts. I am facing a legal battle with a contractor, and need to get back to texts from March of 2015 for a certain number. I can get to July of 2015, but need to go back further. Any advice on how to achieve that? Thanks.

Making sure you have the information you need for a legal battle is a big deal. I'm definitely sorry to hear you're unable to see the messages you need but we're happy to help find a solution. When did you get your current phone? Which Motorola Android phone do you have? Do you know if these older texts were ever deleted? Have you previously backed up your texts anywhere?

if they're still on a phone you can use samsung smart switch, with both on wi-fi to xfer.
