Rights to refund on a returned phone

I purchased a prepaid phone on june 3 and couldn't stand it brought back to the verizon location where purchased and they refuse to refund me. Said it's a one time activation so no refunds are allowed. Another location told me I have 14 days to get my full refund. Anyone else have a similiar problem

You can get a refund as long as you have not initialized your account. If you have not used the service and the phone is in good condition, you can return within 14 days of the date of purchase and get a refund.
