Texts not sending when message+ is connected to computer

I've had the Message+ app on my computer for over a year and never had any issues with it, in the last 2 weeks my texts have quit sending if I have the app on the computer connected to my phone. Texts won't send from my phone (Droid Turbo 2) or from the computer. As soon as I disconnect my phone from the app on my computer my texts work again, the texts prior to disconnecting never send. All apps/software are up to date. Help!

I rely on my text messages daily so I know how important it is to ensure they are working successfully. Are you getting a certain error message when attempting to send a text message from your computer? Have you made any recent changes to your phone or computer when you started experiencing difficulites?
