Dead time using network extender

Hello, I have a samsung 4g Network Extender at my house. it works great except that every time I use my phone I will get about 10 seconds where the person I am talking to will not hear me. It usually happens in the first 5 minutes of the call. Once it happens it seems that everything is ok.

I use voice applications for work through my computer and never experience this issue so I don't think it is a IP or internet issue.

Does this audio issue only happen to your phone when you are using this at home?
