Signal Low to None in my Neighborhood

Hello,

I live in North Santa Clara, CA.

Over the past few years, my Verizon signal has been dropping gradually to the extent that now there is only 3G (at most), and usually no signal.

What's happened?

I can drive about a quarter mile away in any direction, and get a signal, but my neighborhood area is like a dead zone now.

Zip is 95054.

Hello,

Just within the area around my house and several others in a radius of about a 1/4 mile.

There is no signal. It drops down to 3G; sometimes even only 1x.

When friends/family come over, they also lose their Verizon signal.

(However, those with AT&T or other carriers still have a strong signal)

But if I drive in any direction about 1/4 mile out, I get strong signals.

So I believe we're in a "gap" or dead-zone.

What can be done?

Our zip code encompasses many miles, so just searching by zip may not identify the issue.

We understand your concern. We look at the ZIP Code to see if any reports have been made in or around the area. What services are you having issues with (calling, text messaging, or data)? How often do you see signal drop? What kind of phone do you have? Does restarting your device help with signal at all?

What services are you having issues with (calling, text messaging, or data)?

When in my home or near the surrounding homes, Verizon's signal drops to one bar of 3G; usually 1x.

How often do you see signal drop?

Always, when within a 1/4 mile radius of my home area. Outside of a 1/4 mile radius of my home, the Verizon signal is quite strong.

What kind of phone do you have?

Moto Z2 Force, though I don't believe it's the phone, since my friends/family all have a variety of different phones, and only the ones using Verizon lose their signal at my home (regardless of phone brand/model). Others on different carriers have no signal issues.

Does restarting your device help with signal at all?

Obviously not.

* As I mentioned, it's obvious that Verizon's signal in my area (or at least around my home) is quite weak, as compared to strong signals from other carriers. AT&T can get 4G in my area, but Verizon can barely get one bar of 3G?
