Cannot access or save to SD card

My memory is low on my tablet, but I cannot access or save files to the SD card. I have taken it into Verizon's and they also were unable to figure it out. I bought this tablet because I could expand the memory, but have not even been able to access it! Why have a card slot if it doesn't work?

Are you receiving errors when you attempt to access the SD card? Which file manager app did you download from the Play Store to access it?

No error message, just unable to access card...But, I was not aware that I needed to install a file manager app to do so! I did not find this info on any Google search, nor was it mentioned when I took the Tablet to a Verizon rep. What program do you recommend?

Also, my numbers and symbols keyboards disappear when in applications like this thread, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. Any suggestions on how to get them back on my Ellipse 7?

Does the key at the far left-hand side at the bottom not allow you to toggle between the numbers/symbols (key labeled ?123) and the standard keyboard (that same key is then labeled ABC when it's in numbers/symbols mode)?

The great news is that the Ellipsis 7 does have an option to have a MicroSD card up to 32GB. This will help you save memory.

What files are you trying to save to the SD card? The option to move files from the internal storage to the SD card is not available for the Ellipsis 7, but you can move contacts, pictures/videos.

Do you recall if you installed a different keyboard for the Ellipsis 7 or is it the same one that came pre-installed?
