car phonebook

I have a 2012 accura mdx. I just got a new i8 and previously had an i6s. It pairs with the car but now it says it cant import the phone book. I've checked everything on the phone that might be blocking it. What am I missing?

We want to make sure you can use all your phone and car functionality. Let's get this working. Sometimes, just remove or forgetting the connection will fix the issue. You can also go to the Bluetooth settings on the phone and hit the 'i' button. You should double check that the phone is granting permission to the car to access the phonebook. Did you phonebook ever download before? What other settings did you check?
