Have to constantly reset phone while on verizon data

Whenever I go off wifi and try to do a google search I get a "cant connect to server" error.  I turn airplane mode on and off and then I can connect, but I can only do a few searches until it stops working again.  I have the "new verizon unlimited plan" and I only use about 5gb of data per month. 

It seems like it has done this since I got my iphone 8 about 6 months ago...

Thank you for giving me that information. I know how important it is to make sure you are able to use your phone whenever it is needed. Please tell me what zip code you're in. When did you notice this was happening? Was it after a  recent software update?  Has the phone come in contact with any kind of moisture?
