people are telling me I show up as unknown in their caller ID. I cant find in the settings to see if this has been turned off...Galaxy S8

Hi, MARKDAVIDSON. I know how important it is for your Caller ID to accurately reflect your information so people will know it's you calling. I'm sure we can get the ID on calls you place from your S8 to show your number and your name whenever possible. The Share Name ID that tikibar1 mentioned is a fantastic place to start. This free service allows you to update your name for outbound calls to lines that support the service. If that didn't take care of the trouble though, I'd like to find out a bit more about what's happening. Does the Caller ID reflect "Unknown" for every one of your outbound calls or just to particular people? When did you first notice this happen? Does your number display along with "Unknown" as the name or is your number missing as well?
