can't delete 1 contact on my phone

I have HTC 10, tried to delete a contact phone #, can't delete or edit. It is no longer on Verizon.com Cloud Contact List - when I try to delete it from phone by choosing delete a contact, it is not on the list of contacts. But it is still on my phone. Contact has 2 separate numbers on it and Primary is wrong number. I can't edit or effect contact. I need to get it working. Any help greatly appreciated

What troubleshooting steps have you tried since you started having this issue? Have you made sure that the contact is not saved on any other cloud services, for example, iCloud or Gmail, depending on what service your use?
