More dropped calls by the day

Why am I getting numerous (10+) dropped calls per day? I have an iPhone X and it’s getting progressively worse. It happened a bit on my iPhone 7 but not nearly as much. This happens on my commute to work which is mostly on 495 (the Long Island expressway) in Nassau and Queens counties in NY - an extremely populated area and none of my friends who drive the exact same route have this issue.

May be having problems due to the same situation we're facing. After decades of being Verizon customers the company has changed its focus & left us behind. New tower 1.6 miles away but its aimed away from us - towards the dense population. So our service drops to nothing in the afternoons. Zip reception. We have to rely on our internet carrier - wifi - for comms. Still paying for what we don't get though we're now shopping. I drove in a large circle a few days ago & watched my phone, mapping reception. Perhaps you might want to also.
