Oreo update messed up wifi connection??

Never had an issue prior to Oreo. Now, I can watch when wifi connection drops. Also, wifi signal strength lower. Nothing has changed on my home network.

Not using DHCP, just static IP.  To restart WIFI I have to enter connections | Advanced | Edit | Connect to get it going again.

All Mobile Data turned off.
