I am unable to send or receive text messages to an android phone from my iphone 8plus.
While trying the various fixes found doing an internet search, i noticed that if i turn imessage off and wifi off, i cannot send messages to other iphone users as well. This should be a straight sms message using cellular data.
When attempting to return imessage back on, the phone prompted me to turn either wifi or cellular data on to use imessage when in fact the cellular data is already on!
What a mess!
