My employer discount ran out so I had my husband submit a request thru email validation from his employer on 7/13. It was confirmed/validated on the same day. I found out on 7/31 that Verizon removed it because someone there said he wasn't employed there any longer which is totally false. What's really odd is I called on 7/14 to make sure it was all set and I was told it was confirmed and even rec'd a text msg saying the same, so then how was it removed on the 13th and not noted then? In the interim I had the 8% loyalty discount applied to my account.
I submitted his paystub on the website and he emailed his paystub to Verizon today 7/31 when I found all of this out. I have spoken to at least 10 people between customer care and the validation dept. several times. I get conflicting information and a lot of running around. The last person I "chatted" with online said she would submit the request to her supervisor to have it pushed thru quicker, but then she changed her tune when I said that's what another employee said and it resulted in my husband's validation being removed. When I asked why she was back tracking she said because the loyalty discount was applied so I had to wait for the new submission to be processed which takes another week. Again, this is a repeat of everything that happened back on 7/13.
This is ridiculous. What happened to customer service and valuing customers?
