Promo ended early

Hi: Visited a Verizon store yesterday and told an additional 200 trade in would be available for my phone until the end of the month. Went back today and no longer available. Wanted to upgrade to Note 9 and buy another phone/line for my daughter. Called corporate Verizon and they said it was a "indirect promo" they weren't responsible for. Offered me 60 in accessories. Not interested, can find the accessories on Ebay for half the cost of a Verizon store. Not happy Verizon will not keep their word and have been with them for over 10 years. Time to move on.

You do know indirect means it's NOT a Verizon promo, right? How can a company keep their word when it wasn't their word to begin with? No different if Sprint, AT&T or T-Mobile had an indirect vendor promo.

They went above and beyond to get you something and you just dump all over the offer when it wasn't even their promo. By all means, switch to another carrier with poor support.

Fine. So it is ok when it is not advertised as an indirect promo? I am in your Verizon store and your employee tells me the promo is good to the end of the month and the next day it is canceled? That is fine right? I was going to drop this but thanks for the encouragement. Learn customer service
