IMEI not in the Verizon database

I am trying to activate an iphone 7+ on a MVNO that uses the Verizon network. They are telling me that my IMEI gives an error from Verizon "The phone associated with the Device ID you entered is not compatible with Verizon". It is a used Verizon phone purchased from Amazon.

Thanks Danielle, my issue no longer exists as I was able to connect using a different network. I may revisit down the road.
