I bought a Samsung wireless charging stand for my Samsung J7V. When I put the phone on the stand nothing happens, even though Verizon's website says these are compatible. Any suggestions?
Does the specifications of the phone indicate that it has wireless charging?

That is correct, the J7V doesn't have NFC, so isn't capable of wireless charging. Thanks!
