Last week I went to my local Verizon store to purchase a prepaid cell phone for my wife and add her to my existing prepaid plan. The store agent showed me the prepaid phones. When I was about to select one I aske if he would help me add it to my existing plan. He said no I would have to do that through my Verizon app on my phone. I did not like the lack of customer service so I went to Bestbuy. I found the same phone there at a lower price. In addition, the sales agent spent an hour adding the phone to my existing prepaid plan and transferring my contacts to the new phone. Verizon can learn form this as to what constitutes good customer service.
