$300.00 off Iphone 8 plus for new customers but not existing?

I don't understand why new customers get this kind of discount but it will not be given to existing customers. There should be the option for those existing customers that have been loyal and have a great payment record also. Is this offer going to be offered to existing customers in the near future?

This offer IS available to existing customers who want to add a line of service. You simply do not fulfill the requirements of the offer.

You say this offer is for new customers only. What about new customers who do not have one of the required phones to trade-in? THEY don't qualify just as you don't qualify.

Bottom line is that SOME new customers will qualify and SOME existing customers will qualify.

You might check the trade value of your current phone. My VZW account said my wife's 7Plus was approximately $332. We went to the VZW store and I told them I want to trade at the store, NOT send it in for credit later. They said they would credit us $335. She got a new iPhone X and applied that credit. I think that was more than fair. You might check into your trade credit. Good luck.

New customer only offers are rare, people need to look into the details more.

If a new customer doesn't need a new line, they face the same issue. I've actually seen a new customer post here before ranting about a promotion like this as if it was for existing only, that was ironic.

Unless a promo is something like a gift card for switching carriers, the new vs existing customer deals don't really exist.

Offering the discount for existing customers adding a new line is basically the same as a new customer since it is another line and phone for an existing plan. My phone is less than two years old and I would gladly trade it in for the 300.00 but that is not the offer I am given for my phone. They trade in value is 155.00 :smileysad: I am just asking if anyone knows when a better deal with be made to the existing customers for the Iphone 8 plus?

Yes, and offering the discount for a new customer who has no phone to trade in is the same as not having the offer at all. Not all new customers have a phone to trade. You either qualify for the offer or you do not qualify for the offer.

Not my point but ok.... Still my question, is does anyone know if a better offer will be available for existing customers?
