I live in downtown Manhattan (East Village, actually) and part of my apartment is a couple of feet below ground. As of about a month ago, I can no longer receive or make phone calls down there, although service is pretty good upstairs and outside. There is no "LTE" but there are some bars. I called Verizon and they couldn't come up with any answers. I have a Nexus 6p phone which Verizon doesn't support. They suggested that maybe it's because they're phasing out CDMA (?) in my area? I am about to change carriers because of this. I work down there and need a working phone! Data is fine, by the way, it's just voice. Let me stress that I got this phone about 2 years ago and, up until one month ago, I had no problems making or receiving phone calls down there. Any thoughts appreciated.
