How do I login to the NFL App on iPhone with Verizon information?

When I downloaded the app this past Sunday on my iPhone I was unable to watch any of the football games that were airing locally or prime time.
Any suggestions?
Use the Yahoo Sports app. watching NFL is not tied to a specific mobile carrier anymore
