Network Extender while on Safety Mode - Throttled!

I hit safety mode this morning on my way to my office and have 2 days left on my cycle, so not a big deal. Here is an issue that I am going to escilate. I have a Verizon Network extender operating at my office (the Samsung SLS-BU10B 4G LTE Model). Here is the issue, I have fiber backhaul and when my device is not in safety mode, speeds are upwards of 100MBPS on my device (using the network extender). Now that my device is in safety mode, speeds are painfully slow at .07 Mbps (when connected to the network extender). If the device is using my internet as the backhaul, why would the speeds be throttled?

Antennamatt, it's important to us you have the answers you need regarding Safety Mode. I welcome the opportunity to address your Safety Mode and Network Extender inquiry. The network extender serves as a way to boost your signal when signal obstructions exist inside of a structure or building. A network extender, however, does not supersede your plan restrictions. Accordingly, if Safety Mode is enabled because the data limits have been met, the Network Extender will not be able to bypass the Safety Mode speed limitations because the phone line itself is set for that restriction as soon as the plan data limits have been met.
