Dishonest sales tactics

Watch out when going to
Verizon stores both the real & private stores. I was sold extra epuipment & charged a 10.00 monthly fee before i could figure things out. I am past 60 & was dealing with serious health issues, family problems and was cheerfully being cheated out of money every month by the ''Corporation'' SAles staff will sell items not neccessery to operate the phone unless you need high tech platform for business. Do not trust any sales person withthis company. After more than 10years of service with this company I forgot to pay my bill by one hour and they shut down my service, left me stranded. They play by their own rules, so if you ever get the chance to stick it back DO NOT HESITATE.... Signed Very Disgruntled & going to get payback

That goes for all companies, not just Verizon. You're also not obligated to say yes to everything a salesman is pushing. I don't have misc lines costing an extra $10 because I have no need for them nor would ever sign off on them.

Verizon doesn't shut down service an hour after your due date, you had to have had an outstanding balance to even be in risk of disruption. When you call the 800 number, it even gives you options to set up a promise to pay if needed.
