Text message help please!

Hi, I recently got a Samsung Intensity 2 and am having a little problem figuring out the texting. How do I view messages that I have already responded to?

For example: I have been texting back and forth with someone and it shows a (7) next to thier name. How do I read the previous messages from that person?

I have the first intensity so I dont know if this will help, but I'll try.

 

It sounds like you have the message view set to contacts. You can click on the persons name and it will show you all of the messages to and from that person.  

 

Or you can change it to time instead of contacts. Go to Messaging, click on settings, click on messages view, and change it to time. Then you will have an 'inbox' button and a 'sent' button. Click on inbox to see the messages from them. Click on sent and you can see the messages you sent to them.

 

Sorry if this doesn't help. This is what I had to do on my Samsung Intensity 1. I don't know if this is the same on the Intensity 2.
