4G LTE Network Extender throttles Spectrum download speed

My Spectrum modem/router download speed is approximately 500 mbps. When I connect the 4G LTE Network Extender, the download speed drops to 50 mbps (upload speed is unchanged). This phenomenon occurs with both Spectrum and Araknis modems. I enabled IP Sec Pass Through and PPTP Pass Through on the router with the same result.

Does anyone have a recommendation?

Yeah, unplug the extender and use WiFi calling.

I am also someone who keeps a close eye on my internet connection while at home, NSGYMD. I would be concerned if this was happening with my home connection as well. I would encourage you to contact Spectrum for assistance in changes with your connection. However, I do want to make sure that your Network Extender is working when connected to your home network. Have you been experiencing any issues with your Network Extender? JosephE_VZW
