Network Extender Problem?

I live in a rural area where I get 1-1.5 bars outside (at best of times) and nothing inside unless connected to my Extender. I have a Verizon Network Extender (Samsung SCS-26UC4) that worked fine until I switched to HughesNet for internet services. I recognize that satellite service is not optimal, but the speeds up/down meet minimum requirements in the Extender specs.  Now I get less than one bar inside my home (on S-8 and S-10 phones), and one of my phones (Kyocera Cadence) does not get any service (works outside and in town). Do I need to reset the Extender somehow (IP address / ports / other?) to get it working again?

If memory serves me, I don't think the extenders work over satellite internet service.  Maybe because the satellite network and the Verizon wireless network connections may not support it.

The Network Extender is a great device to help improve your service indoor. The Network Extender will not work with Satellite Broadband internet service. There would not be any resets that you could do to make the Network Extender work on your Satellite Broadband internet service provider. KevinR_VZW
