Ellipsis won’t charge

Picked up ellipsis8 from my parents, who evidently had not turned on in months. Can’t get it to charge. It displays battery with lightening bolt, then battery with question mark. Tried the power off,on and charging from laptop - nothing. Any suggestions?

This worked finally! It took a couple of try’s between charging on laptop usb and the wall charger but it is up and running again!m. Thank you!

The Ellipsis tablet is an awesome device to have that will provide your parents with internet connection for their other wireless devices.
