Changing Network PW for Jetpack

Just bought a Jetpack 8800L for an elderly relative and after changing the Network name I tried to change the network PW to something easy for her to remember and for her to let her friend use when she comes to visit. When I saved the new PW I went to the device PW screen and it had generated a new random PW (for security reasons I assume). Is there a way to change the network PW so that it retains the new PW I entered? I'm not a tech person so there is probably some obvious answer to this. Thanks for any help!

That link you posted does not work all I’m trying to do is change the network name to something smaller and not so long that came from Verizon? Is this possible
