I have a friend who has a verizon straight talk phone and I am on verizon too, why am I being charged for her texts if she is in the same network?
Even though Straight Talk uses Verizon towers, those numbers are not considered "in" the Verizon network for the purposes of in-network calling and text messaging. Only calling/texting to other Verizon SUBSCRIBERS is free with those features.
