Slow Connections

I have had consistently slow connects for the past few months on my USB MiFi2200.  I have tried the Activation process I have seen posted here (PRL Version is 52075) and have kept the VZAcess manager updated (last update of 48MB took over an hour to download).  I am on Wndows 7 and have not had any changes to my configuration since I purchased the laptop.

 

Please tell me there is something that can be done to improve this horrible performance so I don't have to seek out other options.

I have provided some information below that may help.

Step 1 – Try relocating the device (something in the immediate area could be interfering with the signal). Try a window seal or something close to the outdoors.

Step 2 – Try resetting the device.       
        
***Please note, a hard reset will cause all Wi-Fi settings to return to the factory default.

1.      With the device powered on, locate the reset button on the bottom of the device.

2.      Depress the reset button for 5 seconds. (Use an unfolded paper clip or similar object.)

Step 3 – Try restarting the computer.
