We recently moved from 3G service (very solid for years) to 4G. The 4G reception in our neighborhood is terrible, even though we're in the middle of a large metropolitan area. We got the most recent version of Verizon's LTE Network Extender and our reception greatly improved, but now our battery life has dropped to less than a day. We're currently having to recharge twice a day to make sure our phones stay lit.
After five calls to tech support, the most recent person put in a trouble ticket to find out what's going on. (I think the solution is an additional tower somewhere we can access the signal.)
Does anyone have a fix for battery life with the new extender? I'm thinking the phones must be constantly reconnecting to the extender, eating the power.
