Delivery Confirmation

Okay so today I just started receiving delivery confirmation texts. They come back after I send out a text to ANYONE except a certain few. It says "message to so and so number delivered." It comes back as from the person I just texted. This is driving me nuts and I want to know if it can be shut off, because my phone has never received this before. Please help!! Thanks!

Click Menu then click on Messaging, then click on Settinngs (left soft key) yours might be in a different spot , Scroll down to Delivery Receipt on my phone its the last item, click on that and then click on off. That should stop you getting a return receipt message.

Okay I've done this with my rzr. I went into where when I reply to a text I got to message options and there is the delivery report and it says yes. I change it to no, but after I send that text it resumes back to yes. How did it change to defaulting to yes? I haven't changed it before, and I've had this phone for 2 years and it just recently started doing this. It only sends out the report if I reply to someone, but not if I start a new text. I want to be able to default it back to no but I am not sure how.

After you changed it did you click on SAVE? Are you going into menu and going from there?
