A few months ago I was trying (in California) to FaceTime my sister (in Kentucky) and a young man answered. Confused, I apologized and tried my sister again, only to see him answer again. I quickly hung up and tried a third time and was able to reach my sister then.
This weekend I FaceTimed the same sister and someone else answered (I was unable to see their face). I immediately hung up and tried again and got through to my sister. However, while on the phone with her, my phone began ringing from an incoming call. My phone said it was my sister, but I was on the phone with her! I answered and it was the same young man from a few months ago. Neither of us understood why my calls had been going to him.
Later this weekend when I text my sister, none of my texts were received by her, but they were received by the young man. I apologized and asked what state he is located and he reported Tennessee. He repeated my number correctly when I asked, but his number is not the same as my sister's number (obviously).
What is happening?? Please help! I would like to be able to communicate with my sister without the calls and texts being rerouted to a stranger!
