Web like preview in message+

I switched to the Motorola Edge 2021 & previously had an older Motorola, neither show the web link preview in message+. I've searched everywhere, cannot find any way to turn it on, have uninstalled/reinstalled the app, but don't know what else to do. I'm sure it must be possible, I just don't know what to do

Was supposed to be "web link preview in message+"

What I meant was that I no longer receive a preview of the link without having to click on it. I literally only receive a link only. Link previews are boxes you might see when you share a URL. Link previews summarize the contents of the URL and display the name of the linked website, an image and a description of the website’s content. An app pulls this information from either the website’s standard HTML programming language tags or ad hoc meta tags.
