I have recently purchased the 5G MIFI M1000 because of its ethernet connectivity. Once I connect the ethernet to my home wifi network, it performs the way it is intended (minus a once-a-day factory reset to the MIFI box). Other than the module sounding like an airplane, the issue I have is, even when I don't use the internet that day (I will be at work)... the MIFI is saying I consume 15-20GB!?! It's insane, I have had the MIFI for 2.5 days now and I am already at 45GB and I haven't done anything but one zoom call, and 1 hulu show.
What is happening? Why is the MIFI consuming so much bandwidth without it being called upon to do so? HELP, I am going to run out of my 150gb in the first week, without even using the dang thing!
