5G Home Internet Extender

I installed the 5G Gateway box upstairs and get a pretty strong signal. Downstairs is a different story. Not strong at all. I previously used Orbi system with my Spectrum internet. Can I connect the Verizon 5G box to my Orbi? Or do I need to get a Verizon 5G extender? Can I place the Verizon extender downstairs to get a better signal? I was reading that it might not work on a different floor. Thank you.

It is important that the 5G Gateway box get the best signal first and foremost. Without that, the reset will not work well at all. You can try connecting the Orbi directly, but the extender would be a better solution. Keep in mind, you can return the extender if it does not solve the issue. Does that information help?
