Why can't I forward my video clips stored on my droid to a friend?

A little more information would be nice? Moto or HTC? What have you tried? Are you trying to forward via email or messaging?

On the Moto Droid: Messaging > Select recipient > Menu > Attach > Videos

Email and gmail are very similar.

also to add what actually happens when you try to forward the video? does an error pop up?

After speaking to customer service about not being able to upload or email video I was told to keep my videos to 15 seconds or less? Really!

I think the "15 seconds or less" really only applies to video sent through MMS messaging. You should be able to email much larger files. I'm not sure about uploads to YouTube, etc.
