I can't send a text message to any of my contacts? Help please!

I have the LG Ally and I've had it for a couple weeks, and its been working fine! Then this morning it needed to self update so I let it. Then about 1 1/2 hours later, I tried to text some of my friends. I have tried about 10 friends and none of the messages of sent. I also triedto turn my phone off again and turn it back on and it's still not working! Thanks for the help!

Try calling *228 and choose option 1. Let the process go through anc if the phone does not automatically, reboot it and see if that corrects the issue.
