Can't group text with Android or send them images

I got an iPhone 14 about a week ago and have not been able to group chat with Android users or send them images. The same problem exists if I try to text iPhone users who are off-line, meaning it affects all related SMS/MMS texts to groups or with images. I'm running latest software iOS 16.0.3. I've toggled Airplane mode on/off, iMessaging off/on, SMS off/on, MMS off/on. I've reset Network Settings. I've rebooted after making these changes. Nothing helps and both Verizon and Apple help bots are useless. Anyone else have this issue and figure out how to resolve it?

I had a similar problem though it was not group text it was using the i phone 14 pro to i message to text & send messages to andriod devices. I can now send texts & images via i message to my family & friends no matter what smart phone they have. This is what we did: We went to the Verizon store were we bought it from after having gone to the Apple store. The Apple Reps said it was a problem only Verizon could fix as they had someone else with the same problem & no matter what Apple tried to do it did not fix it. It took a level 3 Verizon specialist to fix it, so they advised us to go to Verizon. The Verizon store didn't believe it at first and they tried to do what you just described only to have realize they too had to call their main support to ask what to do. They finally had to change my E-sim via Verizon to a different E- sim electronically and that fixed the problem. I hope this helps you get that issue fixed it was very frustrating to say the least.

Thanks. I was going to go there but now I can tell them what worked in your case. I suspected an eSim problem.

Resolution:

I got in touch with a Verizon Tech at 800-922-0204. I gave him the IMEI number (Settings/General/About/IMEI) and he was able to look at the behind-the-scenes settings for my phone. A setting hadn't initialized properly when the phone was set up. He was able to fix the setting and it fixed the problem. I didn't even need to reboot the phone.

Same problem!! Very frustrating, i will leave Verizon because I need this feature for work. AT&T iphone user do not have this issue. Has to definitely be a Verizon problem!!
