How can I block phone numbers sending spam texts to my phone? Ditto for phone msgs to v-mail.

You can reply with STOP to the spam texts. You can add your cell number to the do not call list. ( https://www.donotcall.gov/ )

At MyVerizon, you can block up to 5 numbers from texting/calling for free. The blocks last for 90 days, and you can then re-apply if needed.
